Little Raspberries

Hello!
I am a newly registered childminder in Tewkesbury. I live in a spacious and cosy home with my husband, baby son and two friendly cats. I have always enjoyed looking after children, and aim to provide a warm and friendly service which parents can trust.
We have a large main play space, including a bright conservatory for indoor messy play, and a good-sized, fully enclosed back garden. Activities that might take place during a typical day could be: role play and dressing up; story telling and reading; creative activities such as painting, drawing and craft; sand or water play, physical play such as ball games; construction; baking and cooking. We also walk in the local community, visiting baby and toddler groups at the local children's centre, going to the park and playing field, going to the mobile library, or visiting the local shop for cookery ingredients.
I am CRB checked and have a full paediatric first aid certificate which is renewed every three years. As an ex-primary teacher, I have an excellent understanding of child development and of the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage. I am adaptable and creative, and full of ideas of fun things to do that fit with your child's interests and individual abilities.
I currently have vacancies for children aged 1-8, and can provide after school care, including drop-off and pick-up from Northway Infant School, Carrant Brook Junior School and Northway pre-chool playgroup. If your child attends another Tewkesbury school, it may be possible to make an arrangement for them to get to me.
