My name is Emma and I am mother to two beautiful girls. Katie was born in 2007 (she's a cheeky Monkey and loves making new friends) and Sophie was born in 2009 (Sophie's very laid back and easy going).

I spent many years working in an office until Katie was born. This changed everything! I knew I wanted to be a stay at home mum.

When Sophie arrived, I realised that working with children was something that I wanted to do; so I trained to be a Childminder.

This career allows me to be there for my own children; and also help other children to learn and achieve while in my care.

As a childminder I provide a home based childcare setting, for parents who find the idea of nurseries too impersonal. As a childminder working from home, I offer a more personal approach to childcare and one to one care.

I am also more flexible and can work around the commitments of parents and provide a continued form of childcare; even when your child attends Pre-school or other settings.

I will provide a warm, friendly, safe home environment with a family atmosphere; as well as offering the majority of activities that a formal childcare setting offers.

We will also offer a range of days out for your child including trips to the park, local toddler groups, playgym, Children's Centres and library.
