Childminder in Chorley

I am a 25 year old ofsted registered childminder. I recently completed a one year postgraduate degree in teaching but due to meeting my now husband just before the course started I decided I would rather start a family than be a full time teacher so subsequently changed my career to childminding, I have now have a wonderful 4 month old son. I have a large lounge with a play area set out in half of it on top of a 36 square foot foam mat. There is also plenty of room at the front of the lounge for children to move toys to and the wooden floor is great for ride on toys. I also have a large secure enclosed back garden. In the kitchen there is a good size table for children to eat meals at and to do arts and crafts and board games. I have a wii that chilren can use as a treat but will not be encouraged to play computer games too often. I love to cook so the children in my care will have homemade nutricious food and lots of opportunity to learn to cook and bake.
I am a member of the national childminders association.
I am also a member of duke street and buckshaw childrens centres and will be using the great resources at these centres for your children. Every week we will go to toddlers groups, messy play and bounce and rhyme so that your child can enjoy different toys and playing with children their own age. We will also go the park whenever the weather is nice and to the seaside. If it is raining we will still enjoy the great outdoors and splash in puddles in our wellies but will also go to indoor soft play areas.

For a full time toddler my fees are £25 for a maximum 10 hour day. After school will depend on number of hours and whether or not I am already looking after a sibling.
