Ofsted Registered Childminder in Shenfield, Brentwood, Essex

AVAILABLE FROM SEPTEMBER 2010!

I'm an Ofsted registered Childminder in Shenfield. I provide before and after school care (including pick up and drop off from St Joseph the Worker in Hutton). I am also available to provide full time care for 0-5 year olds and 5-7's and 8 and above. I have completed a paediatric first aid course, a safeguarding course and introduction to Early Years Foundation Stage. I have successfully completed CACHE NVQ level 3 Diploma in Homebased Childcare unit one and am working towards completing the other units.

I plan activities a week in advance and the children will be able to take part in messy play, role play, cookery and outdoor play. I enjoy taking the children out to local parks, libraries and shops as part of their daily activities. All food provided is well balanced and homemade.

Hi Caroline,

My name is Gemma and my husband is Mike. We have a son called Finley who is 5.5 months old. Finley will be 1 by the time I go back to work. Looking for childcare is all very new to us. We are looking into nurseries at the moment but I like the idea of Finley going to a home rather than nursery. How many other children do you care for and are any of them Finley's age? Do you have children yourself? How much do you charge? Do you work weekends? Do you work from your own home? Finley would need care for 3 days a week (hopefully, all being well with work), from 8am to 6pm. Do you work these hours?
