HA3 childminder with vacancies

I work with a full time assistant (my husband) offering reliable, flexible, good value childcare, I have a clean driving license and fully comp insurance covering all children in the vehicle on our day trips etc... we offer places from birth in a 'home from home' environment that marries home based care with nursery type care, as there are 2 of us you can rest assured your children wont be dragged around the supermarket, or taken on unnecessary school runs, we run our care as a full time business, not just a way of earning a little extra money, we have spent considerable time, effort and indeed money making our home perfect for children, we have a large very well stocked playroom offering a wide selection of educational toys and allow the children full control over activities with adult lead/direction only when needed such as when cooking, messy play or music time, we do not spend endless hours on paperwork and daily diaries as we firmly believe that the day is better spent ensuring your children have fun filled days and return to you happy rather than bored because we have spent time 'writing up' paperwork, we do however keep all necessary paperwork as required by law. Each child has suitable sleeping space (cot, travel cot, bed) in a room used only my them during the day to ensure each has the opportunity to nap undisturbed by others, and each child has their own bedding.

My Experience

Our children range from 11-15 so we have plenty of experience as parents but also I have around 10 years extra experience working with children and have sat on 2 committees as a chairman for a local scouts group and for a local mums and tots group, whilst my husband was in the Royal Air Force, I worked at several nurseries before registering as a childminder, over the years we have provided care for children from all backgrounds and with a varying degree of needs, we understand that you rely on us to work in order for you to meet your own commitments and as such we always provide parents with a leave request as close to the beginning of the year as possible and we do not take time off without giving ample notice, again due to the fact that there are 2 of us we have never (yet) needed to take time off due to sickness.

unfortunately due to our working hours we have not been able to complete as many qualifications as we'd like, sadly most courses are run during the day or in the evening- but usually before our day finishes, although I am due to start my degree in october 2010 :idea:

My Availability

We offer care Monday to Friday, typically 8 am to 6 pm although we do work from 6am to 7pm, and also are registered to provide overnight care as needed, we offer year round care (with the exception of our 3 weeks holiday usually taken August and October or April and August) We are also able to cater hours around shift workers where possible.

My Fees

Our fees vary according to hours needed but we do offer a sibling discount for families requiring care for 2 or more children,
Typical costs are £4.85 for full time care and £5.25 for part time care, "is that good value?" I hear you say...... well yes, because many childminders charges start from £5 (without the advantages we offer) for 1 carer, with us you get 2 carers for the price of 1!

BABYSITTING:
rates for babysitting vary according to night/hours, the charge is per family, not per child, fuel charge is included in the price for upto 3 miles,I am happy to travel but please be aware that this may incur a small extra charge .
