Prestwood Bucks Childminder

I am an Ofsted registered childminder who is relocating to Buckinghamshire mid July 2010.

A previous working mother, I decided after my second daughter to stay at home and raise my two young children. I will be living in Prestwood, Great Missenden with my husband and 3 and 6 year olds. I am fully insured, registered with Ofsted and a member of the NCMA.

I decided to become a childminder as I love children, and also understand how emotional and difficult it can be to leave your child in the care of someone else whom you can trust, having employed a childminder for my own daughter. I think that childminders can truly provide a home from home experience for your child, giving them the comfort and security of being part of another family while at the same time ensuring all their educational, emotional and physical needs are also met.

I am a former teacher, and hold a full pediatric first aid
certificate, as well as level one and two childcare certificates, food hygiene and child protection training. I also have full EYFS training. Ofsted grading: Good.

My Qualifications
A levels
Honours Degree in English and American Studies
Diploma in home based childcare level 1/ NVQ level 3
Child protection training levels 1 and 2

My Availability
I am relocating to Prestwood mid July 2010, and will have 4 vacancies to fill.
