Ofsted Registed Childminder in Stamford has Vacancies

I have a place for 2 pre-school children between 1 and 5 years old and 3 school age children between 5 and 8.

I am 27 year old Ofsted registered childminder and I have a son of 7 months old. We live in a beautiful home in Stamford with a big garden, located less than a mile away from Malcolm Sargent Primary School and a big park. My aim is to provide attentive, sensitive care to children ensuring they are at all times, safe, secure, happy, stimulated and comfortable in their surroundings. I aim to work together in partnership with parents to provide all children in my care with a clean, loving, home-like environment where they can play and learn. I really do understand how important it is for you and your child to receive a warm welcome from a reliable and caring childminder. I believe in the value of both structured and flexible schedules. Structured activities will include regular reading times, arts and crafts, and musical activities. Outdoor play, free play, outings to the local parks, shops and places of nature are some of the more flexible activities that I provide. To Learn and have fun is the most important priority!

I have grown up loving children and have been babysitting since 11 years old, during University holidays I worked as a children’s programme co-ordinator at a resort in South Africa working with kids from 1 to 16 years old. In 2006, I worked as a girl Friday/Nanny in Milton Keynes, looking after one boy of 5 years old and 2 girls of 10 and 12 years old. I am happiest around children and have enjoyed all my experiences with them very much, and then when my son was born in November 2009 I decided to fulfil my life long dream of becoming a childminder.

I have completed the following short courses: Introduction to Childcare Practise, 12 Hour Paediatrics First Aid, Child Abuse and Neglect Foundation, Childhood Obesity and Henry (health, exercise and nutrition in the really young), Common Assessment Frame work, Fire Safety, Food Hygiene and Health and Safety.

My Hours are 7:30am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, term time and school holidays. I am registered for overnight stay, and i may work weekends and public holidays if requested.

My Fees are £3.50/hour per child between the hours of 7:30am and 6:00pm (This works out to be £36.75/day and £183.75/week full time). Occasional Childminding and agreed additional hours before 7:30am & after 6:00pm (Including evenings and weekends) will be charged at £5.50/hour. Overnight stay will be charged at £50/night. Fees are paid in advances and childcare vouchers are accepted.
