Ofsted registered childminder in Sidcup has 3 ful time vacancies

I have over 20 years experience in childcare and am graded outstanding by Ofsted. I am qualified to level 4 and am currently working towards the Foundation Degree in Early Years. I have experience with Autism, ADHD and special diets. My husband who is also graded Outstanding now works with me.

Our setting is in a quiet road which is close to both Sidcup and New Eltham railway stations. The house has been extended and adapted to cater for children of all different age groups. The garden has a very large decking area where children can play all year as it has an industrial cover. There is a summerhouse used exclusively for the children which stocks an extensive range of toys, equipment and resources. Children are able to ride bikes and scooters, enjoy sand and water, draw, paint, make models, sing and dance, play music, use computers, as well as many other different activities. Children can also benefit from my knowledge of German and dance.

We take children to our local parks, library, and toddler groups.

We follow the early years foundation stage and believe that children learn through play and sharing their experiences. It is very important to us that all the children we care for are happy, safe and loved and have ample opportunities to thrive and develop.

Meals are provided which are nutritious and balanced.

Fees are £3.25 per hour for a full time place.

Your profile sounds great and so am wondering if you would consider our situation? I am returning to work in March 2012, part-time, and am looking for an experienced, flexible childminder to care for my children, ages 1 and 2 in Sidcup. I need childcare on a Weds, Thurs & Fri but as my husband does shift work it wont be full days every week.  His rota repeats every 8 weeks so out of each 8 weeks I would need 6 full days and 6 mornings totalling 75 hours. Also, I am forward thinking but am hoping that when my eldest starts school in Sept 2014 he will attend Birkbeck so would need someone who could pick him up from there.
