I'm Katie and I am a childminder in Chertsey.

I offer the children in my care a nuturing, safe and happy environment in which they will flourish. I treat the children as individuals, making play and learning positive and enjoyable.

I plan my time with the children to give them a blended mix of structured activities (painting, play dough, reading, singing, dressing up, jigsaws, blocks etc) and free play time. I offer lots of seasonal activities, as well as routine and favourite toys. I follow the EYFS, and make observations of the childrens progress against these things.

The children are given a healthy diet, I prepare and cook food freshly on my premises.

Choosing the right childcare for you is so important, so please contact me if you would like to visit me. All the children are cared for as if they were my own.

My house is a happy one, with 3 rooms for the children to enjoy. We have a quiet room, for reading, a room for activities and a room for free play. we have a good sized garden, which the children have both free time and structured time to enjoy. We have lots of toys and resources for the children. We also have a very cute (and very friendly!!) guinea pig that the children will be able to enjoy.

I am currently on the school run for St Annes School and Sunbeams Pre-School.

I am Ofsted registered, fully insured. We are a smoke free house.
I have certificates in Paedatric first aid, Childminding Introduction Course and Safeguarding Children.
