Childminder with Vacancies in Stevenage, Chells Manor/Great Ashby

My name is Louise Garrod and I am an Ofsted registered childminder with a 'Good' grading based in the Chells Manor area of Stevenage. I am also a member of the NCMA.

I live with my husband Matt and our son who is 7. Matt and I are both CRB checked. The others members of our household include Dave and Mollie our 2 persian cats and our new little puppy Charlie.

I have an older sister who lives close by in Chells. She is a primary school teacher and is married with a son and a daughter. I also have a brother who lives at home with my mum in Hatfield. My mum was a childminder for 15 years while I was growing up so I have always been surrounded by plenty of children and have learnt a lot from my mum. I was a frequent babysitter to the childminded children over the years and am still in contact with quite a few.

I have attended courses in home based childcare practice, safeguarding children and I hold a paediatric first aid certificate. I am always looking to expand my skills and knowledge wherever possible.
