Childminder in Egham

I am an Ofsted registered childminder and a busy mum of two children aged 10 and 8. I am happily married and currently look after several lovely young children (part time) and looking to take on more children.

I live in nice sized house, with a lovely sized garden, with a dedicated playroom where we have lots of lovely toys and spend our days doing whatever the children would like as well as planned activities, i.e. cooking, painting, reading along with visits to farms, parks, playgroups, etc. I follow the EYFS and carry out regular observations on children in my care. I regularly attend local playgroups and meet up with other mummies/childminders so that children can gain maximum benefit of socialising of others in their own age group.

I have been working with children for over 10 years - as well as looking after my own children I have looked after relatives children, worked in several nurseries and an after school club.

In addition to my work experience I have done the following courses:-

NVQ 3
First Aid / Paidiatric
Child Protection
EYFS
Food and Hygiene

Our home is a smoke free zone and we have lots of quirky pets such as stick insects, tropical fish, a finch and african snails! We also have a lovely rabbit who is loved by our little ones.

I understand how important it is for you to feel comfortable about leaving your little ones with someone, especially being a mum of two myself. I can provide references for children that I look after, and have looked after, and welcome a visit to meet us. We like to think of little ones that come to our home as extended family and I treat all children as if they were my own. Hi there Julie, can I ask if this is term time only? and in holidays are you looking for any further cover? Also can you confirm if the finish time is 3.30pm or if Jamie does any after school clubs? Best wishes
