Childminder based in Hemel Hempstead

About Me
My name is Julie and I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder. Our setting offers the care and support of two adults as I will be working alongside my daughter (who will be my full time Assistant).

We will be following the Early Years Foundation Stage to encourage all children's development and will ensure that all activities are not only fun but also age/stage appropriate.

We have a dedicated playroom which is full of toys/books/games and which leads directly onto our enclosed garden, where we will offer a range of outdoor activities.

We will also be providing a range of outings including trips to the park, the library and playgroups.

We provide freshly prepared home cooked meals and whilst these are being prepared all children will be fully supervised as there are the two of us.

My Experience
I have eight years experience working within a private nursery with children aged 2 months upwards.

I also have over a years experience as a private nanny and have raised three children of my own (aged 26, 24 and 20).

My daughter has worked in a primary school as a Teaching Assistant/Cover Supervisor and also gained experience of working with children when studying paediatric nursing for two years.

My Qualifications
I am NVQ Level 3 qualified and have completed the CYPOP 5 Home-Based Childcare Service course.

Both myself and my daughter have current paediatric first aid certificates.

My Availability
We have spaces for children aged 1 year upwards from the beginning of January 2012.

We are able to offer care from 7.30 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday.

My Fees
Our fees are £4.50 per hour.
