Peacehaven Childminder with spaces available from November 2011

Hi my name is Katie Page, I live in Peacehaven with my husband and our two sons. Harrison is two years old and Lewis is 8 months old. I started as my sisters Childminding Assistant in April 2011 and in July I became an Ofsted Registered Childminder. I am registered with the NCMA, I have paediatric first Aid and I am continuing my child care knowledge and experience through on going training and courses.

I am educated to degree level and I have also studied Child Development GCSE (C) and Advanced GNVQ Health and Social care (Merit).

I can provide a fun and exciting learning experience in my home with many resources and activities both child initiated and adult led including; messy play, water play and baking to name but a few.

We enjoy daily outings to many places including local parks and woodland, the library, and various groups to keep everyone occupied. I feel it is very important children are able to get outside and enjoy any type of weather. So even if it's wet and windy we put on our wellies and enjoy jumping in puddles! I work closely with my sister at her home (Precious Ones in Peacehaven) giving each child a varied and well socialised environment to make friends and continue to learn and develop their own identities.

I can provide home cooked meals and I can provide a full weeks menu to suit any type of eater.

My daily sessions are 8am-6pm, 8am-1pm or 1pm-6pm. However I can be flexible with earlier start times at an extra cost.
