Accrediated Network Childmnder

Hi My name is Nicola. I live in Faversham, kent. I am a registered childminder with spaces.

I am able to offer up to 15 hours free child care for 3 - 4 year olds.

I have recently been graded as OUTSTANDING by Ofsted earlier this year. I am part of a child minding network where I can access extra training and support if needed. I have also got grade A's in all my units for Diploma for Home Based childcare. Other cources Safeguarding Children, Baby Talk (baby signing), Food Safety and Schemas, Forerst Schools,CRB checked, Public Liability Insurance, Member of National Childminding Assocation.

I have 2 magazines Who Minds? for childminders and Creative Steps for more ideas on arts and crafts

I have lots of ages related toys and a secure back garden with a slide and play house.

We are a friendly setting. I have 3 school aged children of my own.

Been a childminder since my youngest school 4 years ago

I understand as a mum how hard it is to leave your child with another person, so we have as many settling in sessions as you wish, so we can all get to know each other well.

My fees at present are £4 an hour.

I do school runs to Ospringe School Faversham twice a day

We visit lots of places like Wildwood (I'm a member) parks, Stonebridge Pond, 2 soft play areas (Merry go Round & Jubilee Centre) We also go to 2 children's centres in Faversham with the child minding group where we do arts and crafts, sing and sign and messy play. We also go for walks in the local woods.

I have an 7 seater car with all new car seats suitable for ages 9 months onwards. My car is fully insured for business use.

My location is in Faversham just of the A2 opposite the Abbey School

I plan all my activities arround all the childrens interests and their ages.

I do individuial portfolio's on all each children in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
