Childminder West Green Crawley

Hi,

My name is Kala I am an Ofsted registered childminder and I live with my husband and my 11 year old stepdaughter is with us alternate weekends and half of the school holidays. we also share our home with 2 dogs and 2 cats, the dogs spend much of the childminding day in with my father in the "grandad annexe" the cats tend to keep themselves hidden away once they have had a nose to see whats going on. The dogs are very used to children however they would of course not be left alone with them at any time. My husband works shifts at the airport and interacts with the children and joins us on outings when not working, he, my father and of course myself have all been CRB checked.

We have a large garden and spend time playing on the large play items and growing vegetables.

We are a very short walking distance to Crawley town centre, Crawley Hospital and and Crawley train and Bus stations.

I can drop off and collect school children from West Green Primary school, Bummble Bees Nursery in West green, Holly Hedgehog Nursery in West Green and Rainbow Nursery which is based within Crawley Hospital grounds.

We take regular trips to toddler and childminding groups, the local parks and library, we also have a large collection of toys, dressing up and books at home.

I have worked with special need children for the last 5 years and prior to that volunteered in a nursery for a 2 years, before making the decision to work with children I spent some time in Australia and worked for an Airline as a buyer at Gatwick.

I offer full time care and am also registered to offer overnight care for children of shift workers,cabin crew and on an ad hoc basis.
