Childminder in West Hallam

I am Claire Hobby, a newly registered childminder in West Hallam. I live with my husband Ian and our 3 daughters aged 9,8 and 4 years. We have very friendly pets too.

I offer a caring and relaxed home to home environment, where activities are planned to each individual child and their unique way of learning. In my setting, activites are play based and fun. I have a range of resources from role play, dressing up, puppet theatre, books, construction, bricks and enjoy children being creative. For older children, I offer a relaxed area where children can "chill out" after school, which includes use of a TV, DVD, stereo player and a computer with safe internet access. An area is also available for homework if required.

I also have a large, safe and enclosed garden with a range of outdoor equipment.

I offer a school drop off and collection to Scargill C of E Primary and West Hallam Village Pre-School.

I am Ofsted registered, hold a valid first aid certificate and a member of the NCMA. Before my children were born, I was a teacher in Nottingham and when my youngest started school in September, I decided to become a childminder as I thoroughly enjoy working with children. My husband is also a teacher.

My rates are £3.25 p.h., £30 per day or £125 per week. I offer home cooked meals if required at a small extra cost and working hours are 7.30 am to 6 pm. I have experience of asthma, food allergies and eczema.
