Ofsted Registered Childminder with vacancies in Glebe, Washington

Hi, my name is Sarah McCutcheon. I am an Ofsted registered childminder, currently graded 'good in all areas'. I hold a current Enhanced Criminal Records Certificate and am fully insured through the NCMA (National Childminding Association).

I live with my partner and 2 children in the Glebe area of Washington, close to Wessington, JFK and St Josephs RC Primary Schools. Our house is shared by 3 cats, all of whom are fully vaccinated and are very accustomed to young children. We also have a rabbit that lives in her hutch in the back garden.

I have worked with young children for over 10 years and our daily routine very much depends on the individual needs of the children in my care. I make regular visits to toddler groups and softplay that allow social interaction, and believe that children learn best through play and as such offer a variety of resources and activities to encourage children to develop and learn.

I have various childcare related qualifications including; BA (Hons) Early Primary Education, Introduction to Childminding Practice, Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding Children and Awareness of Child abuse and Neglect to name a few.

I work Monday to Friday from 8am til 6pm, although I am happy to discuss extending these hours of necessary. I charge £3.50 per hour, which includes drinks and snacks as well as the costs for regular outings to toddlers and other activities. I am happy to provide meals and charge £0.75 per breakfast. £1.25 per lunch and £2.00 per evening meal.
