OFSTED registered Childminder in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire with vacancies

Hello,
I currently have vacancies for children aged 6 months + both full time and part time available.

I live with my husband and my 2 year-old son, in a safe, secure home in the heart of Berkhamsted. I incorporate the Montessori Method into our home providing Montessori equipment and furnishings to promote all Montessori learning areas. I follow and encourage children’s interests, giving them the freedom to develop socially, physically, intellectually and creatively at their own pace.

The environment I strive for is happy, calm and respectful. Wide ranges of activities are offered from messy play, gardening, reading, practical life skills, early science, maths, arts, cooking and crafts. I provide healthy, nutritious meals and the children enjoy treats to celebrate special occasions. We regularly visit the local amenities, as we are within walking distance of the castle, canal, library, parks, farms, shops and the train station.

I am a fully qualified; CRB checked childminder with education up to degree level. I have 10 years experience of working with children, creating children’s TV for the BBC (mainly Blue Peter). I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage, which is used in all OFSTED registered settings. I have a current paediatric first aid certificate and other relevant training.

I collect from Swing Gate, Victoria, Marlin Montessori and Berkhamsted Baptist Church.

My opening hours are 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday, but my hours are flexible upon prior arrangement.
