Childminder in Stanley, Wakefield

Hi my name is Claire I am married to Andrew and we have 2 boys. The eldest is 6 and attends Stanley Grove primary school. Our youngest is 2.
I became an Ofsted registered childminder in 2007 and I can honestly say I love my job!

My home offers a safe, secure, loving environment for your child.
During term time I take the younger children to regular playgroup sessions. We also like to bake, do crafts, read stories, sing and dance to different kinds of music and play with the toys.
We like to go on lots of fun outings when the weather is dry. So far this year we have been to Lotherton Hall, Temple Newsam, The National Coal Mining museum and the local park. We like to take a picnic so we can have fun all day.
Also this year I organised a visit to our local firestation. We had our own personal tour where the children were able to sit in the fire engine, try on the fire helmets and shoot water from the hoses.
The children also took part in 'The Big Toddle' which is a 1/4 mile walk to raise money for Barnardo's. They did very well and raised lots of money for the charity.
